Logan Paul donated $20,000 to two high school seniors in San Antonio, Texas, ahead of the March 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, surprising the students with the gesture before delivering a motivational speech.
Paul was among several WWE talents who visited Holy Cross of San Antonio High School before the Raw taping at the Frost Bank Center. He surprised two graduating seniors with a $10,000 donation each. Paul also took time to deliver a motivational speech to the students, speaking about the importance of hard work and building self-confidence.
Photos from the visit were shared on Holy Cross of San Antonio High School’s official Facebook page, showing Paul laughing, chatting, and spending time with students throughout the visit. The images reflect a side of Paul that stands in sharp contrast to the arrogant, self-promotional heel character he portrays on WWE television each week.
The March 16 Raw was a notable episode for WWE, airing on 3:16 Day from San Antonio, Texas, a city with deep roots in WWE history as the home of Stone Cold Steve Austin. The show featured the return of Roman Reigns, who had a segment with CM Punk, Brock Lesnar being laid out by Oba Femi, and a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match between AJ Lee and Bayley.
Paul is not the only WWE star to make a notable charitable contribution recently. LA Knight previously donated $20,000 to The United Way of Washington County, Maryland, to support his hometown community. WWE talent making community visits and charitable appearances in host cities ahead of television tapings has become an increasingly prominent part of the company’s outreach efforts.
WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
