London Mayor Sadiq Khan To Triple H: “We Want WrestleMania To Come To London”

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has once again publicly campaigned for WWE’s flagship event, WrestleMania, to be held in the U.K. capital.

During a recent CNBC interview, Khan made a direct appeal to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. This follows previous talks Khan held with Levesque in July 2024.

“I’d love for WrestleMania to come to London,” Khan stated. “Triple H if you’re watching, we want WrestleMania to come to London.”

Speculation about London hosting has grown since John Cena pushed the idea at a WWE event in the city in 2023. If successful, it would mark the first WrestleMania held outside North America.

“If WrestleMania came to London… we wouldn’t just have a great weekend, we’d have a festival, of legends… current stars, but also future stars as well.” He added it would “open a completely new market for them.”

Describing London as the “sporting capital… of the world,” Khan believes, “if WrestleMania wants to expand, the obvious place to come is London.”
