WWE Superstar Rhyno is a veteran of the Squared Circle for 25 years but he’s not quite ready to hang up his wrestling boots. However, if he wants to continue wrestling then he might have to go elsewhere.
During an interview with Press & Guide, the 43-year-old said he would like to wrestle for another eight years but his future in WWE is not clear.
He noted that his WWE deal expires in July and a new deal is not yet in place. “I love working with WWE,” he said. “They’re great. But I might have to go somewhere else. I don’t know yet.”
Rhyno ran for state representative in Michigan in 2016 and he ran a gym for years so he is setting himself for life out of the ring when that time comes but it doesn’t look like he’s ready to put wrestling in his rear view in the near future.
During the interview, he also revealed that he opened “Big Daddy’s Boatyard.” Rhyno said, “I’ve always been a boater,” He added, “We started as kids with our family boat.”
He plans on managing day-to-day operations of the marina when he is not on the road with WWE.
These days, he has more time on his hands because he’s not being used much at live events. His last WWE match took place in late February and he’s wrestled less than 10 times in 2019.
