Longtime WWE employee leaves the company

Scott Aycock is no longer with WWE after working for the company for over a decade.

After working in law enforcement, Aycock started working for WWE as a tour bus driver from November 2005 – December 2007, according to his LinkedIn page. He had experience in being a driver as he had done so as a freelancer since June 1999.

In addition to being a driver, he was also brought on as a Security Consultant and Executive Protection person starting in December 2005 where he kept that role for over 16 years. That ended this past week.

It’s unclear whether he was at last week’s Raw which is where Seth Rollins was attacked by a fan. He wrote the following on the page regarding his departure from the company:

“I’m closing one huge chapter and starting another. This month of November is the end of my amazing career with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after 17 years. The memories will last forever and the friendships will last in my heart for eternity. Some amazing, hard-working people that I have been blessed to get to know. May God Bless you all, I will see you down the road.”

Dave Meltzer mentioned on Twitter that Aycock already has a new job lined up:
