Longtime WWE Star Has Still Not Signed A New Deal

WWE has been trying to sign its talent to new contracts, with some re-signing, such as Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, while also not being able to lock down Becky Lynch to a new deal. There is also talent, such as Natalya and Ricochet, whose contracts are slated to expire soon.

Some have speculated that Natalya’s decision will influence that of her husband, TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd), who works as a producer for the company. The couple, who own The Dungeon in Florida, where dozens of wrestlers have trained, are highly respected in the company for their respective work.

Fightful previously revealed that Natalya’s WWE contract is set to expire in June, and as of Thursday, the media outlet reported the two sides have yet to come to terms on a new deal. However, the two sides have been in talks.

The report noted that there is expected to be outside interest from a variety of companies globally for various roles, in addition to stepping into the ring to wrestle.

It was added, “We’ve had several inquiries about the possibility of Natalya working the Owen Hart Cup Tournament, and I was told it was “plausible” depending on when the tournament starts.”

Fightful hasn’t heard anything on the AEW side about whether they expect that.
