In addition to Ronda Rousey, who we noted earlier was at the Mae Young Classic tapings, there are several other special guests at the show.
Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Akira Tozawa, Montez Ford, Shinsuke Nakamura and Dani Garcia were at the show. Garcia is The Rock’s ex-wife and business partner at Seven Bucks Entertainment. The Rock’s mother Ata Anoa’i was also spotted at the show. The family lives about 3 hours away and since they were seen sitting at ringside, it had people buzzing about a possible appearance from The Rock but he was not there.
Rousey was there to support one of her best friends, Shayna Baszler, who is competing in the tournament. Marina Shafir, the fiancee of Roderick Strong, is also a good friend of Rousey and she lives in the area. Shafir has been part of the storyline between Strong and Bobby Roode on NXT TV.
