The Lucha Brothers have reunited and set their sights on a significant challenge. During Saturday’s AAA tapings in Mexico City, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano were interrupted in the ring by Rey Fenix and Penta.
The brothers called out the duo and issued a challenge for Guerra de Titanes, which is scheduled for December 20. Mysterio accepted the challenge on behalf of his team, establishing a high-profile tag team match for the event.
While Fenix and Penta have a long history of teaming together in AAA, AEW, and other promotions, they have not yet teamed up under the WWE banner. Penta has been a regular on Raw, while Fenix has been competing on SmackDown.
In other news regarding Guerra de Titanes, the Wyatt Sicks are set to enter the “carnival of carnage.” Following a victory by the Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown, Murder Clown, Pagano, and Dave the Clown) over El Ojo, Bo Dallas appeared via a taped promo. Dallas confirmed that Wyatt Sicks had accepted an invitation to face the group. The faction has targeted Psycho Clown and Pagano with attacks after their matches for several months.
