Luke Harper on WWE not having anything for him at WrestleMania 33, explains why being in Wyatt Family was frustrating

Luke Harper recently spoke with FOX Sports to promote WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, FL next month. During the interview, he was asked about Randy Orton defeating AJ Styles on SmackDown Live to earn the WWE Championship match against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33. Harper said that it makes him very bitter because he feels like he had the right to that spot and also feels that Orton gave up that spot. He said that he doesn’t know if Styles won it fair and square either.

When asked what he’ll be doing at WrestleMania 33, he said that he doesn’t know, but he has a feeling that he will have to create his own opportunity again and take it into his own hands. He added that he doesn’t think there’s a big plan for him, so he guesses that he’ll have to make one.

When asked if being in the Wyatt Family was frustrating because he didn’t get to showcase his personality, he said that it was incredibly frustrating and that there were times in his career that he felt like he was serving several different masters, and for him that wasn’t beneficial. He noted that it came to a point where he wasn’t out there until these last couple weeks. “It was to a point, but then I didn’t really realize what was out there until these last couple weeks. The 2014 run was a bit of a tease. I was still… I guess not fully developed as a WWE superstar at that point, and I feel like I’m completely developed now. The last six or seven weeks away from the Family have been very eye-opening.”
