Lyra Valkyria Was ‘Genuinely’ Upset With Her WWE WrestleMania Moment Coming At The Expense Of Bayley

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria expressed deep appreciation for Bayley during a recent appearance on “My Mom’s Basement,” highlighting a strong bond and support system she found upon moving to Raw.

“Especially since I’ve come to Raw, I feel like I really had this natural connection with Bayley outside of the ring, and then it kind of just manifested inside the ring; we really, really clicked,” Valkyria revealed. This connection made her WrestleMania moment, which came at Bayley’s storyline expense (as Lyra’s original partner), particularly emotional: “So having my Mania moment come at an expense to her was genuinely very upsetting.”

Valkyria continued, offering significant praise for the former champion: “So Bayley, since I’ve come to Raw has been like a massive help. And she actually is everything that I thought Becky [Lynch] would be. So it’s a very big shame to see her out at the moment.”

She also noted strong in-ring chemistry with former NXT rival Roxanne Perez and current WWE Women’s World Champion IYO SKY.
