Main event is set for WWE WrestleMania Backlash, Retribution members align with MVP?

The main event is set for WWE's next pay-per-view, titled WrestleMania Backlash.

Drew McIntyre will get his rematch at Bobby Lashley for the Universal Championship. This week on Raw, Adam Pearce set up a Triple Threat Match between McIntyre, Randy Orton, and Braun Strowman.

McIntyre won the match by pinning Orton. After the match, T-Bar and Mace attacked McIntyre as MVP looked on from the entranceway. The show ended as the announcers wondered what role MVP played in the attack.

As of now, Lashley vs. McIntyre is the only match that has been announced for WrestleMania Backlash. This year's Backlash has been given the "WrestleMania" name as a way to draw some more subscribers to Peacock.

WrestleMania Backlash will take place at the WWE ThunderDome inside Tampa's Yuengling Center on Sunday May 16.
