Major changes made to two WWE WrestleMania matches

The major WWE WrestleMania changes that were speculated over the weekend are now locked in and there’s been a major change to the original plans for the Universal Championship match.

As reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it will now be Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns and John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt. The original plans, Cena vs. Elias and Wyatt vs. Reigns, have been scrapped.

Meltzer added that he is not 100 percent sure that Goldberg will win today at Super ShowDown because there’s still a chance that Cena will challenge for Wyatt’s Universal Championship. If that is the plan then Cena would have to win the Elimination Chamber on March 8 to earn the title shot.

The only thing that is for sure is that plans have changed and it will be Cena vs. Wyatt and Goldberg vs. Reigns at WrestleMania.
