Major creative changes planned for WWE Monday Night Raw

Bruce Prichard takes over WWE Monday Night Raw beginning with tonight’s show so you can expect to see some of Paul Heyman’s creative plans changed now that he is no longer an executive with the company.

As noted last night, there was a late change to the finish for the match between Asuka and Nia Jax and it looks like more changes are coming tonight.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez talked about the new creative landscape in WWE and Meltzer noted that everything on Raw is expected to change. Raw will be live tonight and there is pressure to get ratings up. WrestleVotes noted earlier that something “unexpected” is planned for tonight’s show.

Meltzer said the following on Wrestling Observer Radio: “A lot like pretty much I think everything on RAW is changing starting tomorrow,” Dave Meltzer said on last night’s Wrestling Observer Radio.

The big question is what happens to some of the Heyman-backed wrestlers. The belief is that some wrestlers, such as Drew McIntyre and Charlotte Flair, are safe. However, there are questions on wrestlers such as Angel Garza, Andrade, Aleister Black and several others.
