The much anticipated 10 year celebration of The New Day took place on WWE Raw and it ended with a shocking twist.
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were brought out to the ring by Adam Pearce. Woods and Kingston talked about their journey. They didn’t mention Big E’s name until the fans started to cheer for him and Xavier said, “We miss him too.”
Woods and Kingston were about to make an announcement but Big E walked out to the ring and talked about what Woods and Kingston have meant to him. E said that he would be appearing on Raw as their manager until he is cleared to wrestle again. Woods spoke and turned on E for not showing up sooner, despite his neck issues. Kofi agreed and he and Woods pushed E out of the group.
Instead of splitting up, Woods and Kingston said that it’s now just them. So it appears that they will be working as heels.
