WWE is continuing to look for ways to go all out for WrestleMania 39 weekend in addition to what has already been announced.
As previously reported, WWE is looking to bring John Cena in for a match at Mania, his first bout since SummerSlam 2021, where he lost to Roman Reigns. The company hopes to have The Rock back for a match against Reigns, but that possibility comes down to Rock's busy schedule.
There’s been a lot of speculation regarding the possibility of Steve Austin coming back for one more bout, as the company reportedly offered him another match, although he has denied the report. WWE is also looking to bring in a lot of celebrities for WrestleMania 39.
WrestleVotes reported today that WWE wants to have additional events on this weekend similar to The Undertaker’s 1deadMan show. The company has also discussed doing interactive shows with Austin and Trish Stratus.
WWE will hold WrestleMania 39 on April 1 and 2, 2023, in Los Angeles, CA in addition to a live SmackDown, Hall Of Fame ceremony, NXT Stand & Deliver, and the post-Mania Raw on this weekend.
