WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is shaping up to be a memorable event with the retro theme of the special returning to its glory and some big matches on tap. It also appears that one star may be returning at the show.
The main event has yet to be announced for the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, but it’s expected to be Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. WWE has teased the idea of Rhodes bringing back the Winged Eagle Title for one night only.
Charlotte Flair could also be returning to the show. Flair tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in December 2023 on WWE SmackDown in a match with Asuka. Earlier this week, Flair was training with WWE NXT’s Shawn Spears and Kiana James and TNA’s Lei Ying Lee (who was formerly Xia Li in WWE).
WrestleVotes reported today that Flair’s return is imminent, with the possibility of it happening as soon as this Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event. WWE creative was tasked earlier this week with structuring a presentation of her return to TV.
