Major stipulation added to WWE Survivor Series

It was announced at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown Live TV taping in Glasgow, Scotland at The SSE Hydro that Kalisto would challenge Brian Kendrick for the Cruiserweight Title at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view event. The stipulation for the match is if Kalisto wins then SmackDown Lives gets the Cruiserweight Division from RAW.

That is a major stipulation and it’s interesting because WWE already has plans on adding a cruiserweight show to the WWE Network. The “205 Live” cruiserweight show will air live after the Smackdown tapings so this could mean that they plan on moving the division away from Raw. It was explained that this happened following negotiations to allow Dolph Ziggler to defend the Intercontinental title against Sami Zayn (a Raw Superstar).

The WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, November 20th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Both RAW and SmackDown Live stars will be featured on event, which will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Here is the updated card for the event:

—5-on-5 Traditional Elimination Match: Team RAW (Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins) vs. Team SmackDown (Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles)

—5-on-5 Traditional Elimination Match: Team RAW (Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Bayley, Charlotte Flair) vs. Team SmackDown (Nikki Bella, Carmella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi)

—10-on-10 Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match: Team RAW (The New Day, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, Sheamus & Cesaro, Enzo Amore & Big Cass, The Shining Stars) vs. Team SmackDown (Heath Slater, Rhyno, Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, American Alpha, The Usos)

—Singles Match: Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg

—Intercontinental Title Match: Dolph Ziggler © vs. Sami Zayn

—Cruiserweight Title Match: Brian Kendrick © vs. Kalisto – if Kalisto wins then SmackDown Lives gets the Cruiserweight Division from RAW.
