It appears that WWE has been able to convince CM Punk to return to the company and it looks like he will be back on tomorrow night’s Raw in Chicago, according to a report from Dave Meltzer on this morning’s Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer heard word from “one of the biggest names in the business” that Punk would be back. There was some doubt though since Punk was pulled from a Wizard World convention and replaced by Randy Orton but Meltzer is being told that Punk will be back this Monday.
So, the question is, what happens with the main event picture at WrestleMania? Well, with Batista turning heel obviously they need to have a babyface inserted into the match with Batista and Randy Orton so this opens up a slot for Punk or they could move Daniel Bryan into that slot and still do the planned Triple H vs. CM Punk match.
