The New York post is reporting today that NBCUniversal, in an effort to keep Raw on USA network, are thinking about putting together a package to build WWE a Hall of Fame at Universal Studios in Orlando. NBC Universal has an exclusive negotiating period with WWE that ends on February 1st. WWE is then free to negotiate with other networks. WWE expects to get a substantial increase on their next television contract because of the rise in sports fees. Spike TV and Fox Sports 1 could be potential networks that WWE can land on. If WWE does strike a deal with Spike TV that could spell trouble for TNA.
