WWE Raw is moving to Netflix this January and that has fans believing that the handcuffs will be off completely when it comes to the verbiage you hear from wrestlers during promos.
That may or may not be the case in January but for now, talent needs to stay within the TV boundaries. PWInisder reported that there was a mandatory talent meeting held before Raw.
The main thing that came out of the meeting was officials making sure that talent knew not to curse when they are on camera. They did not specifically say what words are banned but talent was reminded that they have to stay within the TV-PG parameters.
Triple H stated on The Pat McAfee Show that the issues with things being censored on FOX would no longer be a problem when Raw moves to Netflix. We could see an edgier product but for now, things have to be advertiser-friendly on the USA Network.
