Maria Kanellis responds to stolen and leaked private photos

The modern social landscape is full of this kind of story at this point and unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon as more celebrities are hacked with their private photos and video leaked out onto the internet.

There seems to sadly be no shortage of victims in the pro wrestling world either as Paige, Charlotte  Flair, and more have had some of their most intimate moments captured on photo and video leaked online without their permission.Maria Kanellis became a victim in a recent wave of private photos being released online and it looks like she has plenty to say on the matter.

In a rather lengthy reply to this event, Maria Kanellis who has appeared in Playboy laid it all on the line by explaining what she plans on telling her child about her past. After all, she is currently pregnant with her and husband Mike Kanellis’ first child.

Maria explained how every leaked photo she’s seen so far were taken three years ago for her husband, Mike whom she’s been with for over six years. She isn’t bothered by being naked and sees that as the way God made her.

She went on to say she’s not ashamed of The Power Of Love and plans on being very straightforward with her child about the subject as well.

Maria went on to explain things she was afraid to talk to her child about including war, sexual harassment, economic inequality, racism, homophobia, genocide, and the current political climate among other topics. She said people should “focus less on the way people love and more on the way people hate” which is a great sentiment in this situation.

All in all, this is an incredibly mature way to handle this horrible ordeal and we applaud Maria Kanellis for her tact. If you’d like to read her entire message across four images, her social media response can be seen below.
