Mark Henry breaks down why WWE fans relate to Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s feud

For the past several weeks on WWE TV since SummerSlam, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have been feuding on SmackDown Live.

Lynch attacked Flair after their Triple Threat match at SummerSlam for the SDL Women’s Title – with Carmella. The pair will go head-to-head for the title at the September 16th Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. Despite Lynch being portrayed as more of the heel in the scenario, fans have been getting behind her.

WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry took to Busted Open Radio and explained why WWE fans can relate so much to the feud between Charlotte and Lynch:

“Charlotte is in rarefied air,” Henry said. “She was born to be great, she came from greatness – so it’s expected,” Henry said. “My kids are jaded, spoiled, entitled as hell. They have every opportunity that a kid like me grew up that had no opportunity.

“Charlotte is the success story! And Becky is the common-place. She’s the person that has the struggle, that came from nothing, that worked her ass off just to get looked at – Just to get looked at! Not to get an opportunity, but just to get looked at. And that’s what our fan base is, mostly. Our fan base is people that are busting their ass every day.

“That being said, the reason that this is an angle that we love so much is that we all identify with it.”
