Mark Henry: It Is ‘Impossible’ For WWE Not To Use Matt Cardona And Nic Nemeth Again

Mark Henry believes WWE would be making a mistake if it did not bring back Matt Cardona and Nic Nemeth full-time. Both former champions recently appeared for WWE, with Cardona on NXT and SmackDown, and Nemeth returning to Raw for the “Last Time Is Now” tournament. Speaking to TMZ Inside The Ring, Henry argued that the crowd reactions prove their value.

Henry said: “The reaction that he [Cardona] got in Madison Square Garden… Impossible not to use him again. You are basically looking at a pile of money and going, nah, I don’t want that money. That money is too crisp… No, they saw dollars with him. And the whole internet blew up. You blew up the internet, and you’re not going to work? Get out of here. They’re gonna give him some money, man, he’s coming back.”

Regarding Nemeth, Henry feels it is inevitable that WWE will want him back permanently. He noted that Nemeth’s time away from the company has only increased his worth and demonstrated his ability to succeed independently.

Henry stated: “Basically, he already is [back], because being at TNA, and having a working relationship, he gave life to Joe Hendry. He’s had matches against WWE talent. It’s just a matter of time before they realize that they made a mistake not keeping Nic Nemeth and paying him and then they bring him back. But they’re trying to build for the future. The guys that go back are the guys that are not worried about themselves right now. They’re worried about making the business better.”
