Mark Henry outlines how Undertaker vs Sting needs to play out at WrestleMania 37

WWE Hall of Famer and co-host of Busted Open Radio Mark Henry recently discussed the potential match between The Undertaker and WCW legend Sting. It was believed up until recently that it was far too late for an in-ring battle between the two legendary icons; however with the concept of the ‘Boneyard’ match and WWE setting a ‘pre-taped’ precedent? There’s a chance that the match could still happen, and Mark Henry outlined exactly how the match should play out at WrestleMania 37.

“You think about all the great matches that Sting had” Mark Henry began. “Him flying in from the rafters to the ring, rappelling down into the arenas? And you name all of the great, historical talent that he beat? Then you talk about The Undertaker and the streak and the matches he had with Shawn Michaels…and the pageantry of his entrance.”

Henry then fantasy booked how the promos would air between the two megastars, beginning with Sting. “‘As great an illustrious career that I’ve had? I’m not on the lips of the wrestling fans like The Undertaker is. And it’s not jealousy, it’s not envy. The winner gets to tell the story of who was the greatest. Vince McMahon won the war between the WWF/WWE and WCW. So when they say that the ‘Phenom’ is the Undertaker? I beg to differ. Let’s find out at WrestleMania next year.'”

“And Undertaker can rebuttal that” Henry continued. “‘I know you got your panties in a bunch because y’all lost the Monday Night War. And people don’t talk about you the way they talk about me. But keep my name out your mouth. You saw what happened to AJ Styles last year? I’ll bury your ass next.'” And it’s over. Everybody’s waiting, no-one is thinking about WrestleMania the event. They’re thinking ‘wow I can’t wait to see Undertaker vs Sting.’ And if they don’t bite on that? I’m gonna pull my hair out.”
