Mark Henry recalls the time when Vince McMahon woke him up by dumping a bottle of water on him

During Busted Open Radio over the weekend, Mark Henry shared a story about Vince McMahon pulling a prank on him before a show. Henry says he likes to take naps during the day and one day McMahon found him under bleachers.

“Everybody knows that I take naps every day, that I sleep,” Henry said. “I find a dark place. I have to hide in closets. I’ve climbed under the bleachers. I’ve done everything that you could do. So Vince New this and he’s like ‘where’s Mark? Where’s Mark?’ And so they had everybody out. They had walkie talkies. ‘Anybody got eyes on Henry?’ And they found me and I was sleeping on some mats on the edge of the bleachers.”

Henry continued, “Vince came out of his office, walked through the arena, everybody’s pointing and then he climbs up in the bleachers, and I’m on the floor, and he has a bottle of water. And he’s going for a little water and [he] pulled back like a little kid. And water hits me and I’m like, ‘What the hell they got the cameras on, man? I’m looking around, and I go back to sleep again. And then [he giggles] like a little kid. And now I’m like, ‘what? Who did that?’ And then everybody in the arena busted out laughing. So this is on video. I know they got it. They gotta release it now.”

Henry said this is a regular occurrence, especially on long flights.

“They got me. He got me and everybody was in on it like Vince has – he’s a practical joker man. You get on some of those international flights, or you get on some of those Tribute To The Troops [flights], you better not go to sleep until he goes to sleep, because he’s gonna get you.”

Henry also shared a story about a call he got from Vince when Mark’s mother passed away. The full story is up at this link.
