WATCH: Mark Henry says he would wrestle in Saudi Arabia if he were John Cena

Hall Of Famer Mark Henry agrees with WWE’s decision to continue with the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia and he says John Cena should have stayed committed to the show because it’s his job to perform. Henry says the murder of Jamal Khashoggi put the entire country in a horrible situation but WWE’s decision should not be affected by politics.

“I wouldn’t ever say that person is making the wrong decision. I would say that’s not the decision that I would make. I would stand by my guns and I would do what’s good for business.” Henry said. “I’m a firm believer in not leaving people out to dry.”

Henry said there were things in the past that he didn’t want to do but he realized that his decisions could have screwed over other people. “Our fans, they want to see you. Give our fans what they want.”

Henry said it was a horrible thing that happened to Khashoggi but says the Saudi government needs to apologize and do everything possible to fix the situation.

Henry is not scheduled to be at Crown Jewel but he says he would be there if Vince McMahon asked him.

Henry said, “The WWE is just 1 business. There’s hundreds of thousands of businesses doing business internationally. Why pick on one?”
