Mark Henry says he’s amazed by Ronda Rousey’s transition to pro wrestling

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has offered some high praise to WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. During her time in the UFC, she was the biggest star the promotion had alongside the likes of Jon Jones and Conor McGregor. While in the peak of her MMA career, she was hyped as the baddest women on the planet.

As the sport evolved, she pursued her new career as a pro wrestler and became a WWE star where she has made a great transition from the MMA world to the pro wrestling business.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion spoke about how fast she has picked up the art of wrestling while on Busted Open Radio with Dave LaGreca and Goldust. It all started once they talked about current WWE stars who are showing that they want to continue getting better, which is when Rousey was brought up.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anybody other than Kurt Angle learn as fast as she’s learning. Is there anybody that you can think of that’s on a faster learning curve than her and Kurt? [Goldust said no] Yeah, and I was saying two years. Maybe three at the most but six months man, I’m just still like, flabbergasted at some of the stuff she does and when she does it, it’s like instinctively, she feels like, ‘Oh I should do this’ and she does.” Henry expressed.
