Maryse took a shot at Daniel Bryan on twitter with a tweet (see below) on Saturday. The tweet is in reference to the heated exchange between Daniel Bryan and The Miz on Tuesday night’s Talking Smack on the WWE Network. The comments were a mix or work and shoot and WWE’s goal is to blur the lines of reality with some of their storylines and to generate some extra buzz on the WWE Network.
During last Tuesday’s Talking Smack, The Miz ripped on Daniel Bryan because Bryan has been critical of his “soft” WWE style. Miz, while still staying in character at times, told Bryan that if he really wanted to wrestle then he should just quit WWE and go wrestle in bingo hall on the indies. The segment stood out because it felt unscripted and it seemed like Miz was getting to say things that he’s probably been wanting to say for years.
