Match announced for next Tuesday’s SmackDown Live, Mauro Ranallo absent from WWE TV for second straight week

– For the second straight week, Mauro Ranallo was not on commentary for SmackDown Live. Instead, the show was called by JBL, Tom Phillips, and David Otunga. Philips mentioned in the opening of the show that Ranallo is out sick this week. Last week, it was noted that Ranallo missed the show due to the winter weather in the Northeast part of the US.

There has been a lot of speculation on Ranallo’s status with WWE after many questioned his excuse for missing last week’s show. Ranallo has not posted any tweets on Twitter since March 13th, which is unusual for him as he is pretty active on the social media platform.

– Luke Harper issued a challenge to WWE Champion Bray Wyatt to a match on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Richmond, VA at the Richmond Coliseum. This will be a non-title match. As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced for the show.
