Match pulled from tomorrow’s WWE NXT TV and moved to TakeOver show

Earlier this afternoon, WWE announced Pete Dunne vs. Killian Dain vs. Damian Priest for this week’s episode of NXT TV on the USA Network. The winner of that match would then go on to face Adam Cole for the NXT Championship at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Those plans have changed and WWE had moved the Triple Threat Match to Saturday night at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. This means that we won’t know who Cole will be facing at Survivor Series until the match on Saturday night.

It seems like there is some reshuffling going on behind-the-scenes at WWE after it was heavily teased that roster members from Raw and SmackDown would be appearing on NXT tomorrow night as they look to try to topple AEW Dynamite in the ratings.

As of now, these are the matches that have been announced for this week’s NXT TV:

  • Dominik Dijakovic vs. Adam Cole in a Ladder Match to determine which team gets the advantage at WarGames
  • The Undisputed Era vs. The Revival

As for TakeOver: WarGames, only 4 matches have been announced for the show. They usually announce 5 matches so one more could be added in the next couple of days. Here are the matches that have been announced:

WarGames Match
Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim vs. Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Kay Lee Ray

WarGames Match
The Undisputed Era vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, and TBA

Triple Threat Match to determine the number 1 contender for NXT Championship
Pete Dunne vs. Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain

Matt Riddle vs. Finn Balor
