After splitting from Curt Hawkins as a tag team, Matt Cardona, who went by the name of Zack Ryder in WWE, came up with a web series on his YouTube channel titled, Z! True Long Island Story.
The series got him over with fans online and was popular to the point where WWE took control of the series, but when that happened, many fans felt it lost the magic that it used to have.
Ryder was released by WWE last year due to budget cuts and made a few appearances on AEW programming. On January 11th, he had trademark attorney Michael E. Dockins file two new trademarks.
The filings were for “Major Pod Network” and “MC! True Long Island Story” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
Here is the description of the filing for MC! True Long Island Story:
“G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts”, as well as “G & S: Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, providing podcasts in the field of professional wrestling, sports entertainment, action figures, and pop culture; Entertainment services, namely, providing video podcasts in the field of professional wrestling, sports entertainment, action figures, and pop culture; Production of podcasts.”
