It looks like Matt Hardy might not be done inside the ring for WWE after all. Recently Hardy decided to take some time away from the ring to allow some injuries of his to heal up. It was believed the move signaled the end of his professional wrestling career for WWE. He had also begun to do a lot more work backstage, learning the ropes of what it means to be an agent in the company.
Hardy had just come off a Raw Tag Team Title reign with Bray Wyatt, in what was an interesting storyline to say the least. While many had believed they had seen the last of Matt inside the squared circle, he recently confirmed on Twitter that he has yet to wrestle his last match for the company.
The future Hall Of Famer responded to a Tweet revealing that Mr Perfect’s last match in WWE was against Matt Hardy. It also noted that Hardy’s supposed last match in WWE involved Mr. Perfect’s son, Curtis Axel. Hardy responded with the following:
My last @WWE match hasn’t happened yet, so this particular cycle shall be #BROKEN.. But I’m sure the DELIGHTFUL cycle of Hardys & Hennigs doing battle shall continue in the future. pic.twitter.com/GY0ou5nLU2
