With the Royal Rumble just a day away, predictions are flying regarding who will punch their ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 42. On the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the TNA star shared his picks for the men’s and women’s rumble matches, pointing toward a dominant young star and a former champion looking to reclaim glory.
For the men’s match, Hardy identified two powerhouses as potential winnersbut ultimately settled on Bron Breakker.
“I’m going to throw out two names that aren’t top names that would win, but two people that I think are possibilities. I would say Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu. Let’s go Bron Breakker.”
Hardy also addressed the speculation surrounding Seth Rollins, who has been out of action with an injury. Hardy believes that “The Visionary” will make his presence felt in Saudi Arabia.
“Yes, I do think Seth Rollins will get back in this Rumble.” It should be noted that Rollins is expected to be out of action for several more months, with a potential return in time for WrestleMania being on the table.
On the women’s side, Hardy aligned his prediction with many fans and oddsmakers, selecting a star who has been heavily featured in the title picture over the last year. “I would say on the women’s side, Liv Morgan.”
