Matt Hardy makes an announcement on WWE, his wrestling future

During a live stream edition of “Thoughts From The Throne,” Matt Hardy confirmed that he is no longer under WWE contract, as of Monday, March 2, 2020.

Matt says he is now a free agent but that doesn’t mean he can’t return to WWE and he has nothing but great things to say about them. Matt said it was Vince McMahon who helped him attain the quality of life he has. He also thanked Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Michael Hayes and everyone in WWE.

Matt said he needed to leave WWE because he is not on the same page with them as far as the creative aspects of his character and the last 3-4 years he has left in his in-ring, he wants to have creative input. Matt believes he will eventually do something with WWE in the future, perhaps as a future Hall Of Famer but right now he wants to maximize his last few years in the ring.

Matt said he knows time is ticking and he’s too old to waste time. Matt said he will watch Being The Elite on Monday, Raw on Tuesday, AEW Dark, NWA, Impact Wrestling, WWE Backstage with Jeff Hardy as the guest, NXT and AEW Dynamite. He also plans on watching ROH, MLW, SmackDown, New Japan and everything else he can so he can catch up on what is going on in the wrestling world.

Matt said the #FreeTheDelete series finale begins on Wednesday at noon. He added that he will miss the first coming of Broken Matt Hardy. He teased that we might see the second coming of Broken Matt Hardy.

Matt said he could pop up anywhere including NWA, Impact, MLW, WWE, ROH, or somewhere else and he said he excited to enjoy life and spend life with his kids.
