While being on the sidelines while dealing with some nagging injuries, Matt Hardy is making the media rounds to conduct various interviews including one with myKhel to promote an upcoming WWE tryout in March 2019.
Hardy has made it known that despite the wear and tear on his body, he has no plans to retire from the pro wrestling business. He also thinks that a title run would be amazing, but he is not concerned with whether that happens or not. Instead, he has other goals on his current priority list including the accomplishment of wanting to be as entertaining as possible to fans.
Thus, at this stage in the game for him, he doesn’t think that a run with the title is necessary. However, he has made one thing clear which is wanting to face one star before retires which is against former WWE and Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who is currently out of action while he battles leukemia.
“I would say that one person that I would be dreaming before retirement because I haven’t got a chance to work with him. Now he’s gonna be gone for a little bit in future…it’ll be Roman Reigns,” said Hardy. “He is kind of a guy that WWE built around, and I do I like him a lot as a person. I consider him my friend. So I would love to have a Matt Hardy vs. Roman Reigns match before retirement.”
