Based on Matt Hardy’s latest tweet, it looks like his in-ring association with Bray Wyatt has come to its conclusion. Last month, there were teases of a split between the two but it seems like that idea was dropped and they may have quietly split after this week’s Monday Night Raw. Wyatt and Hardy are not scheduled for SummerSlam.
It’s no secret that Hardy has been teasing that the end is near for his in-ring career after learning that his lower back and pelvis have started to fuse together. Hardy is doing a rehab treatment and hopefully, that will relieve some of the pain he is in.
It’s not entirely clear if this is the end for him in general but last week but it was reported by Dave Meltzer that Hardy was not expecting to retire right now but he knows that the end is near for him. The tweet below and Wyatt’s tweet from Sunday (scroll down) is a strong indication that they are done as a tag team.
Thank you for everything, my COMPEER.. I shall miss you, @WWEBrayWyatt. pic.twitter.com/RYk8E6HCRe

On Sunday, Bray Wyatt posted a message on Twitter asking for help from a “badass band to make a badass intro” for him. It seems like he is getting a fresh start as a singles Superstar.
