Matt Hardy written off WWE TV

Matt Hardy appeared on this week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw to speak with Randy Orton about his actions towards Edge on the night after the Royal Rumble.

Matt noted that he and Edge were part of many big moments in WWE history including being part of the first-ever TLC match. Matt also noted that he and Edge had hate and disdain for each other but that was gone when Edge was forced to retire in 2011. There were some Lita chants when Matt began his promo.

Matt said Randy took away Edge's "most miraculous return" to the company and he wanted to know why he did it and "what in the hell is wrong with you?"

Randy attempted to hit the RKO but Matt fought back but Randy was still able to deliver the RKO. Randy followed up by hitting Matt with the con-chair-to like he did to Edge a couple of weeks ago.

It looks like this was WWE's way to write Matt off of television since he is expected to become a free agent on March 1st. The widespread belief is that he will end up with All Elite Wrestling after his WWE contract expires.
