Matt Riddle has responded to longtime WWE star Randy Orton’s recent jab at him.
Orton took to Twitter recently and took aim at Riddle, who just won the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles with Pete Dunne at the WWE NXT TakeOver: Portland event this past weekend. Orton, responding to a photo Riddle shared, posted, “Hated you. Now I get it. Good luck. Also f**k off.”
Just looking at the comments under Orton’s Tweet, some take it as a compliment towards Riddle, while others believe it’s a legitimate shot. Now, Riddle has taken to Twitter to respond to Orton’s comments. He seems to be having fun with the situation.
“I woke up at the crack of noon today and saw this, and I all I could think was “Randy is the Coolest! Also don’t smash my head with a chair bro” “
Riddle seems to be rubbing a lot of people the wrong way, if the shot from Orton is a legit one. Its been reported that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon doesn’t like Riddle due to his social media posts and challenging of main roster stars.
McMahon doesn’t see Riddle as someone who respects the hierarchy of the business after his challenges towards guys like Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.
