Matt Riddle was among the names to be released by WWE last month as part of a mass talent release that hit the main roster and NXT hard.
Following the news, it was reported that Riddle had a lot of interest from other wrestling promotions and even MMA companies about signing him. He had also been teasing that he had something in the works and would announce the news soon.
Before his release, Riddle had an incident at JFK Airport on September 9, where he took to social media to accuse a Port Authority police officer of sexual assault. There is an ongoing investigation into the matter. TMZ released footage that shows an apparent Riddle drunk at the airport while waiting on his flight, which you can see here.
In a post on his Instagram stories, he revealed that he would be launching his own cannabis strain with his ”Riddle OG” brand stamped on it, as seen below:
