Matt Riddle is still looking to get a one-on-one match booked with Brock Lesnar. Riddle did note in an interview last year that he promised the former WWE Champion that he would stop calling out Lesnar publicly.

While speaking with Catch Club, Riddle was asked about his dream opponent in the main event of WrestleMania. He named guys like Edge or Brock Lesnar.

“I mean the obvious answer is Brock Lesnar. You know I’ve been wanting that guy for a minute, but he didn’t want me, but now we were kinda like this. I might be able to get in there now. I don’t know if I will like the outcome of the match.”

The interviewer brought up him wrestling Lesnar in the Elimination Chamber match at this year’s event in Saudi Arabia for the WWE Title. Riddle received an F5 by Lesnar and was eliminated.

“I had a little taste. You know things didn’t go according to plan. I think everyone would agree with that. Brock broke out of his pod and did what Brock does. Nobody was ready for him and he came in and he Brocked us. I would like that match when the time is right and the build is right.
