Mick Foley announces he has tested positive for COVID-19

Mick Foley has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Foley says he tested positive after a virtual signing on December 12 and he has been isolating in a hotel room for the past 18 days.

Foley says there were two people with him in the room for the virtual signing and he did take his mask off and another person in the room ended up having symptoms and ended up testing positive.

Foley said he’s experienced some of the symptoms of the virus and he has missed the holidays with his family. Foley added that he already had cut back on signings but he could have done better but he has been taking the pandemic seriously and he took 12 tests this year.

Foley urged everyone to avoid travel if possible and to take the virus seriously.

Here is Foley’s tweet statement:

“I tested positive for COVID following a December virtual signing, and have been isolating in a hotel room for the past 18 days. Please continue to take this virus seriously – mask up, social distance, look out for one another. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy new year.”
