Mick Foley files trademark for another character name

Mick Foley’s Dude Love character in WWE came from a creation he came up with as a kid. He showed the world the gimmick in 1997 as that is the character he wanted to be as a pro wrestler.

Now, he wants to own the intellectual property for the character as he filed for the term for wrestling purposes and merchandising purposes on February 21st. Here are the descriptions:

In his first outing as the character in WWE, he ended up winning the Tag Team Titles with Steve Austin from Owen Hart and The British Bulldog. Foley was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 to honor the years of success and damage he did to his body throughout his career.

Earlier this week, Foley also filed a similar trademark on the gimmick of Cactus Jack.
