Similar to the old Hardcore Championship, the WWE 24/7 Title is open to everyone across all brands including Raw, SmackDown Live, NXT and NXT UK. Returning legends are also eligible to compete for the title. Foley said the title can be defended everywhere as long as a referee is present.
To crown a new champion, Foley announced that there would be a scramble match. The scramble match included most of the mid-card stars on Raw.
Titus O’Neil won the title and then celebrated on the stage but he was then quickly rolled up by Robert Roode so Roode is the new WWE 24/7 Champion.
This is clearly the latest attempt to keep people tuned into the show to help bump up the ratings.
UPDATE: R-Truth pinned Roode in the parking lot.
