WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has announced plans for a final tour before he retires from the public eye. Foley revealed his intentions during an interview on D-Von Dudley’s YouTube channel, stating he is planning a farewell run in 2028.
The tour is being planned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his legendary Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker at the 1998 King of the Ring. That match remains one of the most iconic in WWE history, featuring the unforgettable moments of Foley being thrown from the top of the cell onto an announce table, and later being chokeslammed through the cell’s roof to the mat below. Foley noted that the physical reminders of that night are still with him.
“The only reason I don’t fix the teeth now is they are a reminder of that night,” Foley said.
Now approaching 60, Foley detailed his plan to finally step away from wrestling and performing after one last tour.
“I thought now that I’m 60, maybe I’ll fix it. I might wait until I’m 63,” Foley stated. “30 years of Hell. I’m going to go back out on the road again for one final tour in 2028 for the 30 Years of Hell Tour, and the idea is to hang it up completely, fix my teeth, maybe start wearing nice clothes so no one knows who I am, and just disappear into the night.”
