WWE confirmed that Rhea Ripley is headed to the Raw brand as part of the main roster. The company aired a video package during Monday’s episode of Raw to start hyping her arrival.
She was officially called up to the main roster last month as she worked the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. There had been speculation about which brand she would end up on, but obviously, WWE cleared that up.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter to make a plea to WWE regarding Ripley’s upcoming push while on the main roster. Foley has been a fan of the former NXT Women’s Champion for the last few years and even pitched why she should’ve won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match this year.
He wrote the following:
“It’s vital that @WWE not mess around when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE PLEASE. don’t allow her to suffer a 50/50 fate. Strap that rocket to her back, and see how far she can fly.”
PLEASE don't allow her to suffer a 50/50 fate.
Strap that rocket to her back, and see how far she can fly. https://t.co/3lFg147YJ7
