WWE is stacking tonight’s 30th anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw but one major name cannot be there because of his busy schedule.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley noted on his Facebook page that he was asked by WWE but he politely declined because of the “hectic nature” of his schedule. Foley added that he’s been on the road for 32 consecutive days and he’s been working on a new project that requires a lot of travel. Foley said that he needed the time off to relax and see his family.
Foley wrote, “…I was definitely asked by WWE, and politely declined due to the hectic nature of my schedule. If I had not taken the past couple days off – and instead traveled to Philadelphia for the show – I would be on the road for 32 consecutive days. I have been working on a new project – which has been great fun, but also requires a lot of travel – and I just really needed a couple days off to relax and see my wife and children.”
The following has been announced for tonight’s Raw 30 show:
– Becky Lynch vs. Bayley in a Steel Cage match
– United States Champion Austin Theory vs. Bobby Lashley
– The trial of Sami Zayn
– Raw Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Dominik Mysterio and Damien Priest
– WWE Legends return including The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Teddy Long, Ron Simmons, and Kurt Angle.
