Mickie James: ‘It Would Be A Dream Come True’ For Nick Aldis To Wrestle Again

While Nick Aldis currently serves as the General Manager of WWE SmackDown, his wife, Mickie James, believes he still has more to offer as an in-ring competitor. Speaking on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, James was asked if Aldis has another run left in him.

“Oh, my God, yes. Oh, he’s far from done,” James stated. She shared her hope that Aldis would get the right opportunity to showcase his talents in the ring once again.

“I mean, I think if he was ever given, and I would pray for the perfect opportunity and story or whatever, but I think that if he’s ever given an opportunity to put on his boots and get out in that ring, I know it would be a dream come true for him,” she said.

Aldis, a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and TNA World Heavyweight Champion, transitioned to a backstage and on-screen authority role in WWE but has not competed in a WWE ring.
