– For those of you that have asked, Kairi Sane (formerly Kairi Hojo) did indeed use her flying elbow during the Mae Young Classic tournament. It was reported several weeks ago that she was told not to use the move because it was being used by Bayley but WWE changed their mind and, as reported last week in the Wrestling Observer newsletter, she was told that she could go ahead and use the move. We are thankful for that because she has one of the best flying elbows in the business. We have complete spoilers from the Mae Young Classic. The shows do not begin airing until next month but if you want to read spoilers then click here.
– As expected, the main SummerSlam card will run at least 4 hours. That will also be the case for every SummerSlam since it’s being built up as their second biggest show of the year. The company hopes to make this the biggest SummerSlam in history and each year they want to continue adding more events leading up to the show. I would suggest adding the Slammys on the Friday before SummerSlam for next year.

– Ryback responded to Dana Warrior after she learned about his comments about him being told about a possible match with The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 30. To be fair to Ryback, he never said that the match was actually going to happen and he was skeptical about what a WWE official told him and wasn’t sure that Warrior was even in the shape to have a match. He also put over Warrior on his podcast.
