MLW hints at two big names going to WWE

2018 has been a crazy year for professional wrestling. Independent wrestling is hotter than it’s ever been and wrestlers have more leverage now than a year or two ago.

Everyone is talking about what The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and Kenny Omega will do in a few months but there are other free agents out there that could be on their way to WWE in a few months.

Dave Meltzer was the first to report that WWE had interest in singing Pentagon, Jr. and Fenix. It was later reported that both men have told promoters that they would not be taking dates in 2019, a big sign that they are WWE-bound.

The official MLW account sent out an interesting tweet on Thursday night that adds more credibility to the rumors. Notice the “nxt” at the end.

The tweet says:

“It’s been an incredible 2018 for the #LuchaBros!

And a monumental moment is on the horizon for @ReyFenixMx and @PENTAELZEROM as we hear what 2019 holds for them.

MLW fans may be shocked to see what’s nxt!”

2019 is going to be very interesting.
