There was an odd moment during the third hour of this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
During the match between Angelo Dawkins and Angel Garza, there was a moment towards the end of the match when Montez Ford collapsed at ringside. The distraction caused Dawkins to lose his match with Garza. This was obviously just part of a story they are telling because this would have been edited off the show if it was legit since Raw was taped earlier in the day.
Ford got back up on his feet and he was able to get in the ring so he could wrestle his scheduled match with Andrade. The match ended abruptly when Ford collapsed again and trainers and referees ran in to check on him.
During a backstage segment, Dawkins said that doctors believe that Ford may have been poisoned before his match. Bianca Belair confronted Vega and told her to come clean and tell her if she tried to poison Ford. This led to a pull apart.
The Street Profits will defend the Raw Tag Team Championships against Andrade and Garza at SummerSlam on 8/23.
