Here’s the full timeline of events on Emma’s arrest on Monday afternoon:
Emma (Tenille Dashwood) was arrested and charged with shoplifting for a $21.14 iPad case from a Walmart in Hartford. She was arrested at 1pm. The official charge was sixth degree larceny (a Class C misdemeanor. She was released at 2:13pm and returned to the XL Center in Hartford, the site of Raw.
She’s not in any danger of serving jail time since it’s a first offense. She will serve a few hours of community service. Once she does her community service and completion of an online course then the carges will be removed from her record.
At Raw they were shooting a backstage segment with Santino Marella and Adam Rose and the Rosebuds at 3pm. Emma practiced doing the backward fall into the Rosebuds several times (at least six times).
At around 4pm Road Dogg went to her room and told her, “You have to leave.” The segment was shot without her.
She was brought to a meet and greet with sponsors and other superstars in a luxury suite just before Raw started and she was backstage during the show hanging out. When the word got out that she just forgot to pay, most people (as we reported yesterday) believed her story, especially since no one would understand why she would steal something like that when she’s earning good money.
WWE fired her and rehired her two hours later (earlier today). The feeling is that they overreacted and there are others that have done much worse without getting fired. Cameron was arrested for DUI and tried to bribe the police officer with $10,000. Tom Latimer (Now known as Bram in TNA) was fired in a fight with police officers after his second DUI charge. Jack Swagger was arrested for marijuana possession and speeding and was not fired.
